Gratitude for Generosity
We are thrilled to express our heartfelt gratitude to CAMA for their incredibly generous donation of recycled items such as wood, fabric, and other essential items to support our activities and fundraising efforts at the shed. Their support means a lot to us and helps us create a vibrant community space.
A Wonderful Visit to the CAMA Warehouse
Recently, we had the pleasure of visiting John and the fantastic team at their warehouse. It was an eye-opening experience to see the vast array of materials they have and to discuss how we could put those items that were surplus to requirements to them to good use. Their commitment to supporting local initiatives is inspiring, and we felt so welcomed during our visit. It’s reassuring to know we have such wonderful partners in the community.
Transforming Donations into Treasures
Thanks to CAMA's generous contributions, we have already begun to repurpose some of the staging into two fantastic worktables! These tables will serve as versatile spaces for our workshops and activities. Additionally, the fabric has already found its way into several projects around the shed. We’ve made cushions, curtains, and various other items for sale—everything crafted with love and care. Each item is a testament to the creativity and collaboration fostered here.
It’s amazing to see how donations can breathe new life into our initiatives. The ability to transform materials into something functional and beautiful is what keeps our community active and engaged. We look forward to hosting more events and workshops where everyone can benefit from the resources provided by CAMA.
Join Us in Celebrating Community Spirit
In closing, a huge thank you once again to the entire CAMA team for their kindness and support! We encourage everyone to come down to the shed, check out what we’ve created with the donated materials, and perhaps even take home a handmade treasure from our newest fabric creations.
Stay tuned for updates on future events and how you too can get involved. Together, we can continue to make a positive impact, turning simple donations into lasting community treasures!
