This one day workshop will run

from 10 am - 4 pm on Saturday 23 March 2024

Expert Guidance: Learn from an experienced and talented instructor who is passionate about textiles and rug making. Liz will guide you on all aspects of rug making, from selecting the perfect recycled fabrics to mastering rug-making techniques, she will guide you every step of the way. You will also learn through interacting with others in the workshop as we learn and explore together with Liz there to give us expert time saving tips and techniques.

Taking inspiration from Bauhaus design we will map out some simple geometric patterns to get you started on your first project.

  • Recycled Magic: Dive into the world of eco-friendly making as we transform discarded fabrics into vibrant, functional masterpieces. Each rug tells a unique story, bringing new life to materials that would otherwise be forgotten.

  • Community Spirit: Join our inclusive and friendly workshop atmosphere, where you will be welcomed and can learn at your own level of tuition from more experienced designers to absolute beginners. Experience the thrill of making something beautiful from the ordinary.

  • Environmental Impact: Feel good about your making journey! By utilizing recycled materials, you contribute to a greener planet while creating stunning rugs that reflect your personal style.
