Come and join us at The Fressingfield Shed shed to learn the art of woodturning on a lathe! Your tutor will be our shed member, Tony. Our course will teach you how to use the basic tools of wood turning so that you can work toward creating stunning bowls, pens, handles, and other handcrafted objects using a wood lathe machine. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, our classes are tailored to all skill levels. You'll have the opportunity to work with an experienced wood turner in a small tutoring course with only one other student. Once you have learned how to safely use the lathe you can come in on a drop in basis during workshop hours and work with fellow enthusiasts in a supportive and creative environment.

Discover the joy of working with wood and learn the techniques to bring your ideas to life. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to learn a new skill and connect with others who share your passion for woodworking. Sign up for our woodturning course today and start creating beautiful handmade objects with confidence.

Note: for insurance coverage, you must already be a shed member to access this course

Payment for the course should be done in advance each week via bank transfer; you can pay in advance for all 6 sessions if it is easier or one week at at time.
